" Unfortunately, due to constraints of insurers, I cannot provide bike servicing for e-bikes - Apologies"

Note:

Pricing service work on a bicycle can be very difficult, as it has a lot to do with the quality and age of the bike and also a lot to do with how its been used and maintained in the past!

So, listed here is an example of services provided purely as a guideline.

Therefore, the cost could be more than stated, but also less than.

~

You will always be consulted before any work is carried out.

* Parts not included in prices

Minimum Call-Out charge is £20

MOT Service - £40.00*

The basic foundation service option - For bike health check tune up and drivetrain clean.

What's entailed-

All nuts and bolts are checked for security: The operation of the brakes, bottom bracket, headset, gears, wheels, pedals, etc. are all checked for safety and wear. Nuts and bolts tightened and basic adjustments made.

The structural condition of the frame is also checked over, basic chain clean and oiled and tyres inflated to correct pressures.

TLC Service - £70.00*

The standard full service option - Good service for when new parts are needed.

What's entailed-

Includes all of the MOT service above; plus -

Brake system is fully serviced (NB. For hydraulic brakes see below); wheel spoke tensions checked, 'trued' and tensioned if needed; Bottom bracket, hubs and headset bearings assessed and replaced and serviced if necessary*; stem and seat post greased to prevent seizure; new components fitted*.

N.B.

If your bike is in a super grubby state, really greasy chain and gears, etc. it may make more sense to bring it to me for a workshop service. But please contact to discuss if unsure.

Full Works - £150.00*

This is a full strip down and re-build of your bike - Good for when groupsets or multiple major parts need fitting, for modifications; for maintaining a long life for your ride.

What's entailed-

This entails all of the services involved in the MOT and TLC, including full strip down and rebuild of your bicycle, ensuring its longevity and feeling and looking as good as new. Includes a frame polish as well if not matt :)
